I guess my point is that there's never been this kind of concerted effort in Texas by democrats to get a republican nominated. When democrats go as far as funding social media ads for a republican candidate and setting up petitions to have democrats commit to voting for them, it would seem to me they REALLY think they can beat that guy.

So "lots" of Democrats that couldn't be bother to vote in the Democrat primary are now enthusiastically voting for Paxton in a runoff? I have been wrong before, and I will be wrong again very soon, but I am not buying this theory. At all.
