This is the second one Paxton is accused of messing around with. The first one was some skelator lady closer to his age. Seems Paxton has a thing for blondes with lots of work and large…tracts of land.

Talarico is gonna be a big obstacle. He became well known during school vouchers and has got some momentum. He is not a tool, so far, like Beto and if he gets the d nomination I think he will give either one of them a tough race. I'm ready for big bad John to move on but don't want a dem in there.

Ask you insider buddy if there is any talk of Morgan running for gov after Abbott is done.

Talarico is going to fire up the dem base and also fire up independents. He has a chance to win I believe.

Honestly I think he has a chance to be a real mover and shaker nationally. I would not be surprised if he is on a presidential ticket someday.

There is a group of "anybody but Brisket" voters out there that are already Paxton.

There are some people that don't like Cornyn, but can't vote Paxton because of the corruption (whether fair or not, that is an issue).

So does Hunt entering the race let the second group come off Cornyn to Hunt?

There will be some that move from Paxton to Hunt, but I think the group in the preceding paragraph may be enough to force a runoff? That is not good for Cornyn.

(Thats is my kneejerk 2 cent evaluation worth less than the list price!)

The "anyone but brisket" crowd will be interesting to watch how it breaks - Hunt could steal it, but he could get hurt in MAGA world by his association with Crenshaw.

As to the group that wants to move on from Cornyn, but won't vote for Paxton, you'd probably need to look at why they want to move on.

I've been wanting him to throw his hat in the ring for a while.

I'd have third partied it if it was Cornyn/Paxton vs. whoever.

I don't know much about him, either. That makes Hunt very interesting at this point. He has very little name recognition, but he's only trailing both Paxton and Cornyn by 10 points.

Once the public undertands that there's a legitimate alternative to a squishy Cornyn or a Paxton with tons of baggage, we might see Hunt's numbers rise dramatically.

It will be an interesting primary season.

Don't know a lot about Wesley Hunt; however I do know a lot about Paxton and Cornyn and that leaves me very interested in Hunt.

I'll take Hunt over Paxton or Coryn

I met and talked with Hunt during his first congressional campaign when we were in the same district. I think he's worth getting to know more. Very sharp, funny guy with great credentials and a great family.

Not sure if he's ready to bust open statewide, but he could have some very interesting support that could change the dynamics of the race. Local media's been suggesting that he's close to Elon, and he had Trump's support in the primary in his first campaign to blow out a better known opponent. We shall see.

Hunt will get Trump's endorsement.

Hunt is much closer to Trump than many may realize.

yep, i have voted for cornyn before and likely would again. i would vote for talarico over paxton.

For the Paxton crowd, why is he better than Hunt?

I want to like Hunt, but every time I hear him speak he gives off major Fake/Manufactured vibes.

Hunt appeared on Jocko's podcast in the fall.

It is a good listen or watch.
