I've gone through E last few times I've flown and there's little to no wait every time

Also I haven't hit any delays outside of having to circle EWR last week due to their ATC issues

Just flew out yesterday. I can't imagine how bad E will be. E was faster than C just because of low numbers, but IMO the system they use is slower than C when the number of people is equal.

yeah we will find out today if I eat my words about precheck and clear. I have massive anxiety. flight leaves at 6:48, I'm supposed to leave work at 3, get home 3:30, puts at the airport at 4:30..not checking a bag so hopefully that is good enough

Might be price too. For lots of United's non-stop routes from IAH, it is cheaper to fly out of Aus and connect through IAH than it is to fly from IAH.

website shows A is going like 17 minutes, but E says 60 minutes.

It makes no sense. You can check bags at E. Why would they tell you to check at C then train to E? All of the United conveyors are connected i used to check in and drop bags at B then overhead train to E all the time

I would assume not to overwhelm the conveyors with the excess traffic.

This is really confusing, I agree. Why can't you check bags in E if you're flying United? The back up of passengers trying to get down to the subway is going to be a disaster.

What an absolute mess. Thankfully I never check bags and have Clear …hoping that helps when I fly out Monday.

if you go to A to check in, then train to e cause thats where your gate is, you don't need to go back through security right? that almost seems better
