Just check in at C.
930 international... Is that the daily non-stop to Calgary? I typically aim to get there 0700-0730, check bags and clear C security with Pre-Check in less than 15 minutes.

All valet and CDE garage was sold out when I booked a couple days ago.
And checking at terminal C was a madhouse this am. Competed chaos at United bag drop.
Ended up getting an Uber. No regerts.

Flying out tomorrow late afternoon. Flight should be out of E. Debating if we want to go to the Am Ex lounge before the flight, which is at D.
Any preference regarding D vs E for security?
Also, I'm 99% sure this flight will depart from E (going to LHR). But the United app currently says C. Is that because that's where we would have to stop to check bags?

I know this wasn't your question but the past few times I've been through thr centurion lounge has been on a waitlist. I've also noticed they've brought in chairs in the hallway so I suspect that it's getting waitlisted more often. I find that interesting as it's always been a lot more chill than a lot of the other locations like Denver & DFW. And yes I realize it's a smaller footprint as well.
Yeah. We expect it might be full. We aren't getting to the airport super early. If we can't get in, that's ok.

I joined the wait-list as I parked in the garage and by the time I got through security using clear and walked to the lounge I was able to walk right in.

Should be able to check bags at C or E but I think the walk over to D is easier from C
That being said, I'd just check which terminal has the least security line and go there. E is generally slower due to the new machines (in my experience)

I'm usually on a layover so I basically do the same as soon as we pull into the gate. Works most times but every once in a while I either take too long and the reservation is expired or I wind up still having to wait an extra 10-15 minutes once I get there.
Went through C pre check this morning and it took about 10 mins at 6:05am. First time I have flown IAH in a while and will continue flying hobby if that remains an option…
Got into the Centurion Club after about a 5 min wait. Hostess said the wait is typically an hour at this time of day.
Terminal D was almost empty. Just a reminder there is no TSA pre at D. There was no wait when we went through about 20 min ago, but you do have to take out all electronic devices. Shoes can stay on.

Been a minute since I've flown. Is IAH centurion lounge doing the goody/to go bags when it's a long wait?
We didn't have a long wait, but there were people outside the club when we left and I didn't see any goodie bags. There was a plastic bin with cans of Poppi soda or something like that. I'm not sure if it was for people waiting or not.
They are doing a good job of managing crowds. We were let in and immediately directed to a sofa/chairs set up. We wound up sharing it with another family of three who were let in but not given a place to sit. The lounge was full but not crowded. It really should be bigger, though.

The Centurion lounge in Vegas is so tiny I think it literally sits like 10 people.
I can't remember which airport in Brazil it was, but they lost their lease on their very large lounge and it was moved to what was essentially a closet.
Centurion is getting a massive expansion 2nd half of the year. I want to say it's going from like 8,000 sq ft to 20,000.
Down side is that it's going to take awhile to complete and it will get smaller during construction before it gets bigger. Source is the GM of the lounge.

That's pretty large. I think the centurion lounge in La guardia is only like 10,000 sqft and we never have an issue getting seated for 5.
Biggest issue is CC companies basically just passing out cards to anyone.

Avoid Frankfurt which is a poop show in normal corcumstances, but hear of major EES issues there.

I'm in Greece right now. There were no changes here.
Everything i read online is that they'll implement that the new system in late 2026.
Your mileage will vary, but the immigration officials definitely didn't give two ****s about processing the giant line fast. Thankfully, we were near the front, or we would have missed our connecting flight in Frankfurt.
