I'm asking why you have zero issue with Homer not respecting "historical accuracy" by not only depicting monsters and literal gods as deeply affecting the lives of these people, but utterly defining these people by those fantasy elements as well. Things that never existed, and thus are historically inaccurate.

Yet, in the same breath, you then have all kinds of issue with Nolan not respecting "historical accuracy" in the form… skin color. Of only a character or two.

Do you not see the contradiction? The irony?

It's called The Odyssey…it's kinda famous, an epic if you will. I recommend reading it some time. You might get why Cyclopes aren't a big deal.

So every other cast member matches their descriptions?

If one cast member is slightly off, everything can be totally different!

No, I think the casting isn't great. But like tccts said, modern audiences and such.

Congratulations. You've managed to either completely avoid or fundamentally misunderstand every point I've made and question I've asked you. With responses that aren't even in the ballpark of being answers. It's kind of impressive, honestly. But also incredibly telling.

I don't understand this response. You are the one who said characters had descriptions and are harping on one character being off. So I was just wondering if every other character matched their descriptions or what is the line for you on matching bs not matching.
