2022 killed Lewis's career. Mercedes came out with a bad car with significant porpoising issues and Hamilton was never the same. The move to Ferrari was a last ditch effort to revive his career, but obviously it hasn't worked out so far.
Lewis retiring would honestly open up some good opportunities for Ferrari rookies since they also have Rafa Camara in their academy roster and he won F3 this year, if he wins F2 next year (he is going to Invicta who are a top team) he could definitely move up to F1 in that Haas seat
All I know is this has to be one of the most competitive rookie classes in a while. Doohan/Colapinto is the only weak link but everyone else has been strong IMO.
