Ok now I understand the VSC after having that happen earlier. Really glad disaster was averted

The videos of past track marshals getting hit pop up on the YouTube recommendations every so often. The one that killed both the marshal and driver sticks with for awhile.

He had flashes of potential during the 2024 season when he replaced Logan Sargeant at Williams. However, so far this year, that hasn't translated to performance except for some improvement in the last few races.

Some of that lack of performance can be attributed to Alpine having a very down year. Even Gasly has struggled to perform this year. I guess they felt Colapinto deserved another year.

I always felt like sprint race weekends should have something like a 90m practice since that is it.

I think the extension posted there was if FP1 is red-flagged at all

I did hear commentary after Sprint Qualifying today that some of the teams didn't do runs on all tyres before Sprint Qualifying because of only one practice session.
