Well he is not lying. Yuki walked into the lobby of a hotel we were waiting a few years back. Had to do a double take because he was shorter than I expected.
Lol, yeah, I know Yuki is short. I did not intend for my "Damn Lewis" to be a criticism of him. I simply found it funny that Lewis said the quiet part out loud.
I know.... It is funny seeing the giant pics at the tracks. I always joke that Yuki might not be tall enough to be a jockey.
Do you know if the no-fee Amex cards work for this? I'm going to COTA this year for the second time and realized I really need the radio. Hard to know what's happening without it.

You don't even need an Amex card. Just walk up and say you don't have one and they will have you scan a QR code to sign up for promotional emails. Show them the confirmation and they hand you a radio. That's what I did last year.
The giggles while your body is thrown forward was fun to watch. The driver was so still, and you're in the passenger seat doing the wacky wavy inflatable guy outside all the mattress stores.

Yuki has (or had) a couple of races to show improvement or its happening. Maybe the podium moved that timeline up.

Tobi from AMuS is legit, he was the first one to break the Vettel out of Ferrari news in 2020. If he is the writer/source he is very valid.
just got my ticket for silverstone through the amex presale, 4 day added inner track for thursday-saturday. a little bit more than other races but this one is having F2,F3 and F1 Academy, stacked support lineup
My wife surprised me with Silverstone tickets last night. 3 day pass for the ignition club. My best friend's wife also t him the same deal so we can go together.
I went to Silverstone this year for the first time. Just went for race day, but great track and atmosphere. You will love it.
I am incredibly lucky and was blown away. The Ignition club is unlimited food, drinks, and booze. It's on the inner track and in between Copse and Maggotts with the grandstands facing towards Becketts and Chapel. So you can see a total of 6 corners and the straight coming out of Copse. The section along that straightaway is is a large outdoor patio/veranda with the main bar. So you can stand and watch from there or go to the dedicated seats. They are also sim racing set ups, pit crew demos (you can try your hand at the wheel gun), interview stages, and live music.

COTA schedule came out and it's the most ridiculous I've ever seen. I am tempted to just go on Sunday now. There is only ONE other series racing that weekend, Porsche Carrera Cup.
On Friday, there are only 3 racing sessions, the F1 practice, the sprint quali, and Porsche Carrera Cup practice.
Saturday is a little better with 4 sessions since PCC now gets 2 instead of 1.
Sunday opens at 10 am, used to be 8 am before because racing always started early, like 830 am start, but now it's clear theres nothing to do they open 2 hours later than usual.
Oh but there are 8 lucha libre wrestling sessions lol.
Beyond disappointed but the general public will be happy with Garth Brooks which I'm sure is what COTA wants. But this year it's clear Miami and Vegas got the better deal than us.

Is anyone interested in 4, 3 day passes for COTA? My buddy bought the Costco deal and can no longer attend. He has 4 voucher codes and the buyer can redeem via Fevo website and pick up tickets at will call or have them mailed. Asking $325/ticket.
Taking my 5yo son to the COTA. This will be both of our first race to attend in person. Any tips & tricks for first timers? Was reading articles about offsite parking since the actual lots are so expensive and exit times can be crazy but appreciate any insights
