I didn't think the main big lot was that expensive, and it's SO much closer than offsite.

I've only been last year and just Friday, so I'd love to hear any tricks, too.

One thing I noticed was that everyone violated the No Outside Food rule.

Off site is sooooo far away and really not that cheap. Plus traffic is going to suck just about everywhere near the track. Unless they are offering a shuttle to the gate I don't think it's worth it.

Good to know. Would you do one of the shuttles from Austin or just pay to park onsite? Lot K is $110 and they go up from there (per stubhub).

Only going on Saturday.

I'm cheap so when I went a couple years ago I parked in the neighborhood a mile or so down the road and just walked from there. A solid 45 minute hike each way but I paid zero dollars!

If you have F1TV, Albon's camera was still on when they removed his car from the track after hitting the wall. The recovery personnel each take turns getting selfies and posed photos taken with the car.

Edit: Finishing out watching qualifying during the morning games, the post crash cam for each incident had some entertainment and photo taking. The Piastri cam stopped before seeing if they could figure out how to get the car on the flatbed

I enjoyed it. Max doing Max things and dominating. Piastri tried to help out Norris with the 1st lap crash but he couldn't capitalize. A podium might've made things interesting in the drivers championship.

Happy for Sainz and Williams.

Looks like Hamilton gave Norris the place back in the very end.

In recent past, there have been others in the midfield and below who had miracle qualifying only to quickly drop back to the midfield early in the race.

The fact that Sainz was able to get a Williams to 2nd and keep a podium through the end of the race is absolutely huge.

Williams has easily been the comeback constructor of the year so far.

got a ticket for my chemical romance in liverpool, 2 days before Silverstone. now i am debating flying in on saturday to see metallica in cardiff since I already plan to fly earlier for the mcr show. would make up for not going to abu dhabi for the finale x metallica this year lol

The-Race website indicated that a contract extension could not be agreed upon between McLaren and Dunne, so McLaren cut ties early.

Probably realized McLaren won't have an open seat anytime soon. It feels like with an academy like McLaren or Williams you gotta hope one of those seats open up. Ferrari and Red Bull academies can get you into another team (like Ollie and Mick going to Haas and RB having their second team). Mercedes only tends to care about one driver which is why they ditched Aron last year to only have Kimi in F2. Bortoleto had to leave McLaren to join Kick Sauber
