I'm sure when the game launches we will get a caspian border style map or two

I'm creekbed ET now; got the PC to run it once and now it's back to Secure Boot issues.

Can confirm. Newborn in the house led to my spending many many hours online for previous BF games. Now that the kids are older I have to compete with them for screen time.

Is there no way to join a squad with a friend without creating a party first? I remember jumping on BF4, see a friend playing, and I could join there squad with a button (I think it was triangle on PlayStation). I would call it "jumping on their back...." quick and easy (that's what she said). I don't see the prompt, just one to invite to a party, not a quick button join.

You can, I've done it. But I think there has to be room in that game. Don't think it will let you join a queue and wait.

Pretty sure this is all just beta stuff. Way too many people talking about getting large groups together... I find it hard to believe that they would just ignore the talk for the final game.

You can join someone in a game without being in their party. You have to wait until the game starts before it'll give you the option. If you're the party leader it will bring your party with you.

We had 6 of us in several games tonight. It hasn't yet put me on the opposite team , I'm not sure if that's possible. You just have to bounce out to the menu and rejoin after each game since there isn't a 'server' to stay in.

I understand disliking map design and the more fast paced action but the game has run amazing on Xbox for me. Far better than I remember bf3/bf4 running on beta.

BF3 beta glitches were amazing

I laughed for entirely too long when that clip came out.

I had something similar as a gunner on a jeep, my arms weren't connected to my body and well, you can imagine the wonkyness that ensued

The game runs fine, but the gameplay is rough. It is a frequent occurrence that somebody will be unloading into me from pretty close range, and I'm able to turn on a dime and kill them with one bullet. And the same thing happens to me…I'm ADSing at somebody right in front of me shooting numerous rounds that could not possibly be missing, and they turn around and inexplicably instakill me. Leading a moving target with a sniper is inconsistent. Grenade throwing just feels really off. Even sliding/diving doesn't feel right. Lots of issues. I don't know if these kinds of things will be better in the final product…I haven't played a beta in a long time. I'll probably skip this game.

Interesting. I have not had any of those issues. Game runs amazing for me. I wonder if your internet is causing that.

Yeah I haven't any of those problems. If it's not your internet and you're on PC I would check loads on your CPU/GPU and RAM

I thought of this an hour ago because I got mine, and a second one 2 seconds later as he was trying to revive him. It was in a stairwell corner... rub-ZAP!... rub- ZAP!. And I almost got a hat trick, but I'm a huge spaz and accidentally switched to my knife, and stabbed and grabbed dogtags 10 seconds later (ACCIDENTALLY!!). Best fifteen seconds of my life (other than my wedding night). Funny because I am not that good (that conquest game I had six kills and 10 deaths). So funny though.

The thing I love about BF is it lets guys like me who aren't Greta at getting kills to be top of the leader board. I was something like 23-30 (K/D) but was 2nd on the leaderboard because I had 43 teammates revived.

There was also a guy with 55+ kills who was middle of the board. This ain't CoD bro

That video is insane! I just discovered today you can kill enemy tanks with the repair torch. I was repairing a friendly tank and an enemy tank rammed it which glitched me through the friendly tank and in front of the enemy tank. The enemy tank was almost dead and my torch finished it off.

I loved the concept of PubG and had a blast with it for a while, but I could never get use to the clunky console controls.

Three of us were sweating, no doubt. Getting run all over the map by the boss.

I love PUBG, but honestly I haven't played it like a BR in ages. We push any and all shots and don't worry about winning unless there are like 10 people left. The gunplay is just so so much better than any other game IMO and that plus the open weapon system, low visibility, poorly designed class system, and bad spotting of BF6 just have me wondering where all the hype is coming from. I'll admit, it looks good when someone else is playing it, but I was struggling to find much excitement in it, probably due partially to the map selection favoring COD style meatgrinder fights.

Don't get me wrong, I'll probably get it, but based on the beta, no preorder, I'll wait for a sale.

Honestly, I think the biggest thing I noticed is that I don't have any interest in a minimap to feed me target info anymore. Just want to see what's in front of me or hear if enemies are approaching from a different direction, that is probably the biggest PUBG influence.

Have they announced when the battle royale is coming out? I would guess they would want to push that out past the full game release.

I rarely use my minimap anymore. BF and COD hardcore trained me out of it so I am with you on this.

Yes, but it was PAINFULLY obvious to me that so many players were constantly map watching. Early on in the beta I was a bit frustrated that I would put myself in a good position, I would take out 1 guy, and then I'd instantly have multiple people shooting me from all directions.

As soon as I put silencers on my weapons that all changed immediately. I could actually take out multiple people and I could strategically get positioning on the other team. It made a big difference.



I will also agree that the auto-spotting is a bit much. They need to tone that down. I'm all for easily identifying Blue/Green friendlies.... but the game should NOT throw up red icons for enemy players any time they glance in my general direction.

That seems to be to fix that players are blending into the background. Would rather they fix that and let us see players than the autospot.

Well the beta convinced me to preorder. I'm pretty much done playing my current AC title and it was fun to have a more social game back in the rotation. Hope they fix up all the party infrastructure as it'd be great to be able to jump in a game with a larger group than 3-4 more easily.

The last night of the beta I played I think I went back to back with one game of 20+ kills and the next with THREE. About the same place on the scoreboard though. Just funny how wildly things can vary from one game to the next.

I went over to dark side and played 2042 last night to get the bf6 unlocks. I was actually pretty entertained on the new map Iwo Jima.

I'm debating playing bf4 or 2042. I never bought or played 2042 though.

It is amazing how well BF4 plays for being more than 10 years old at this point.
