Is there video of this instance? Taking 4 hits at close proximity strikes me (pun intended) as indicative of an extremely close engagement - one where an officer who lacked non-lethal options may have considered lethal engagement.

IF lethal would have been justified, losing an eye becomes a moot point.

Why are we going back and forth on this? The person's friend was being arrested and they charged straight forward them and a cop in an aggressive manner. Things happen in a hurry and the police had to protect themselves.

Another play stupid games win stupid prizes. And another deranged white person protesting for rapist, murderers, human traffickers, and who knows what else. NONE of this would happen if people would stop getting involved in law enforcement activities. Common sense isn't so common any more.

It's obvious the officer should have been trained to ask all the participants to freeze in place whilst a social worker could have been called in to mediate and deescalate the situation and if that failed they should backup and from a safe distance shoot a single pepper ball in the air, say a prayer for harmony then sing kumbaya until all participants were ready for milk and cookies.

Looks like some absolutely brilliant minds came up with a solution... I have not heard on ANY agency jacking with PEACEFUL protestors...

"Menendez also said the agents can no longer stop and detain drivers when there is "no reasonable articulable suspicion" they are forcibly obstructing or interfering with federal operations. "The act of safely following" the officers "at an appropriate distance does not, by itself, create reasonable suspicion to justify a vehicle stop," the judge added.

They are mostly fighting to keep the illegals there because they would probably lose representation. It's not about votes(though I'm sure some illegals vote in those rotten blue cities), but more about representation. Blue cities and states have been losing people. The illegals were brought in to prop up their representative power. Our census laws are stupid.

Trump needs to give Walz 24 hours to get this under control. If it doesn't stop, he needs to send in the national guard and put an end to it asap. We don't need a summer of 2020 redux.

The only reason this crap goes on is that blue state officials encourage and allow it. If they can't do what is right to protect the safety and security of every citizen and federal law enforcement official, then Trump needs to do it for them.

We don't have to live this way and accept it as normal or just letting the left blow off steam. It's feral behavior on a mass scale.

This. Who cares if they call Trump a fascist tyrant. They already do that anyways. They need to arrest Walz, along with all of the instigators, while they are at it.
