She was in reverse. She stopped. She shifted into drive. She began moving forward at the agent in front of her.

Acceleration is the change in velocity over time. Going from being stopped to moving is the literal definition of it. She may have accelerated -more- after being shot, but that is after the fact.

Doesn't matter. She got herself killed by interfering with law enforcement deliberately.

It's a mistake to assume that liberals pushing the "legal observer" and "murderer!" narratives are just stupid. They're not. They're deliberately, willfully, cynically trying to obfuscate the facts and cause confusion. Arguing with them is pointless. Their mission is to sow division.

It's amazing to me that y'all are suddenly all on board with a fascist police state…so much for small government and freedom.

What part of small government/freedom allows you to ram a federal LEO with your vehicle and be free of the consequences?

I'll hang up and listen, troll.

Oh, I guess Babbit was just taking a peaceful stroll through the capitol and decided to break into a barricaded area, even after being warned. FAFO works both ways hotshot.

She was just there to give out some hugs and, if she were alive today, would be welcome to kick out Ellis' window any time.

You're getting way out there, buddy.

Ashli Babbitt didn't try to kill an officer. That much we know for sure. This dead woman did.

You don't know what her motives were.

I know her actions were not a deadly threat to any officer. But don't let factually differences get in your way.

Unless you knew her personally, you most certainly do not.

I think I watched every link posted here and all the angles. I must live in an alternate reality and not see the same video. I don't see her run over or ram anyone. I see her try to drive off and get shot though. Maybe I need to watch it on my 85" 4k tv in full res to see. Very strange. ***shrug***

Quit interfering with law enforcement, pretty simple.

Especially amateur ones who panic at the first sign of stress. Can't imagine a Texas state trooper putting himself in that position or firing multiple shots in a residential area against an unarmed person. That agent is Uvalde-ready.

She was armed. I can imagine Texas state troopers firing at a driver trying to run over officers BECAUSE I HAVE SEEN IT

Here's another example of Democrats supporting law enforcement.

"pig" when referring to a law enforcement officer? Which decade are we in now? That was a thing when I was a kid.
Dehumanzation makes it easier for them to pull the trigger.

Yes, and the internet is chock full of narcissistic self righteous emotional people taking that one punch or kick or shove at an affixed and then whining and complaining about the consequences. They do feel entitled to lash out from years or decades of being protected from consequences. And it is much more often females because they are used to being excused for emotional outbursts and not having immediate consequences for them, whereas most adult males have a lifetime of seeing or experiencing instant consequences for doing something stupid to the wrong person in the wrong situation, and understand the consequences.

Whether she hit him or intended to hit him or not, I don't know. Either way, she is dead.

What I cannot get my head around is all these idiots who do such stupid stuff such as to even show up to protest anything to do with illegal riff-raff invaders and wanting to keep them here. They take time from their lives to show up at **** like this, and put themselves in a position for something bad to happen.

I read she liked to play guitar, was a poet, etc. and now she can't do those things any more. She won't get to see her kids accomplish things, whether it be his or her first base hit, first piano or dance recital, their marriages at some point, holding her grandchildren. For what? It isn't as if she was defending herself or her family, trying to save herself or them from some sort of action by a criminal. Getting killed doing so would at least be for a just cause. She was there where people are defending criminals and opposed to those (ICE) wanting to rid our country of criminals.

To give up your whole life, rob your children of growing up with a parent, over a bunch of illegal trash. Hardly seems worth it.

Exactly. The world would be a better place if many females had been hit hard enough to have a bloody nose, busted lip, or eye swollen shut. Those things change how you conduct yourself going forward.

Best shot I've seen. Pretty easy to see he was hit. He even retreats(probably instinct of a huge multiple ton object coming at you) before being hit.

From this video IMO it looks like she doesn't accelerate until after she is shot. I'm no expert.

Watch the slow motion one…you see her front wheels spinning before he has his gun out. He draws as her car is spinning out basically. Shoots as he's being hit.

Its a fact that woman would be alive and well today if she hadn't violently interfered with the legit enforcement of law as legally established by congress. Place blame where its due.

Federal officer acting under color of law can remove civil suits and criminal prosecutions to federal court per statute. State officials can go all stompy foot but they can't change that.

I hope more people pay attention to stuff like this. It should open eyes to the fact that titles (eg. police chief) are bestowed upon people with no intention of fulfilling the role said title implies. Follow the actions not the words. Arresting ICE officals + lawless promoting policies = furthering an agenda that is not in the best interest of Americans. Really, this gal getting shot is the collateral damage of this very approach.

Officers on the ground have to assume she is trying to kill them with her car, because it happens in that line of work. Everything else is irrelevant.

While this shooting was 1000% justified and appropriate...With leftists being so violent these days, I honestly am starting to wish there WAS the widescale police brutality they all cry about, even though it doesn't exist. I want to return to 1980's hard nosed rough-em-up LA stuyle policing.

They commit virtually all of the violent crime. The right, despite owning more guns than their population numbers, is super peaceful and hardly commits any violent crime overall.

Plus this same officer was injured several months back from being dragged by a vehicle while the suspect was evading arrest. Needed 30 or so stitches for his injuries.

Silly liberals, I don't even know why we respond to them. You don't need to know HER intent. Just like you don't need to know a suspect's intent when he pulls a gun from his waist band. It's the intent of the cop that matters.
