Woman probably wasn't trying to kill or run over the ICE agent. However, she acted very stupidly by moving in his direction.

Did the officer have to shoot her? Could he have "just" moved out of the way? Maybe but I would be hard pressed to second guess his split second decision when he has to determine whether she's trying to run him over.

If I were a betting man, my money is on the officer getting arrested. It's Minneapolis.

you can absolutely see from that video the third ICE Agent was IN FRONT OF THE CAR when she guns it and he then fires and steps out of the way.

that's a good shooting.

Thats not how it works. She could turn around and come BACK at the officers or put it in reverse. Cant risk it, I have seen police videos of perps doing exactly that.

I have been watching the live coverage the "Statement to the Press," and I was so privileged to hear Mayor Jacob Frey tell ICE and the FBI to get the "F### Out." Why? "To protect the locals. ICE is just making things worse..

Cars kill, dont be daft. Ask the Euros, they are used as mass killing weapons all the time. You can also see hundreds of police videos of people using cars as weapons.

For LEOs, the test for excessive use of force includes the totality of the circumstances. Here that includes the calls for violence against ICE and similar agents. By public officials, no less.

Looks like she clipped the third cop that is towards the front of the vehicle.

Roads being iced over make that very dangerous for the officers. Much harder to get out of the way of vehicles.



I can see that but I still think she is fleeing and not attempting to run them over. She should have been arrested for sure but maybe not shot fleeing.

This turned out tragic for both parties now having to deal with it.

If he lets her go she is still a potential danger to the general public, you are taught to neutralize the threat.
