Mia wins the second 7-6. Great battle.

Violeta fighting back from down 5-0. Now 5-2 and V is up 40-15.

Lulu dropped the second 7-6 but I'm fully confident she can take this.

Need V to maintain this comeback. Can't lose a single game.

Auburn wins 4-1 - Vi made it interesting winning 3 games in a row. Lu was leading 2-0 in the 3rd. Mia was in the first game of the 3rd.

Just not our day. Need to leave Oklahoma and refocus bc we cannot lose line 4-5-6 if we want a shot at a natty. Doubles was so important today, but Auburn was the better team up and down the lineup. Daria takes player of the day. She is what we need moving forward.

Takeaways from the day. This match reminded me of when we played OU. We did not win the important points on almost every occasion. NOBODY GAVE UP! They all clearly want it. Reality: A few got their butts beat badly singles (surprisingly - could have been more competitive).

Feel really good about this team moving forward. Losing with a full lineup is a wake up call.

WHY NOT US?!

Auburn takes it 4-1. Lot to learn from that match. Doubles impacted us for too long.

I'm confident we can win a rematch. Won't be easy, but doable.

I think they beat Georgia tomorrow and take the #1 seed for NCAAs.

LSU wins 4-1.

Would have been worse if it was played out.

Wish we were playing them for the SEC title.

Oh well. Need to regroup and prepare to win NCAAs.

Head Coach Mark Weaver on what made the difference in Saturday's match...

"I think the doubles went a long way. We played a really good doubles point. We had doubles match points at 5-2 and 5-4 and couldn't finish. I give Auburn the credit. I didn't think we necessarily did anything wrong in the doubles, they just kind of took it from us in the big points. In singles we fought very hard, but we just dug ourselves in too big of a hole. We fought back, but unfortunately Auburn was a little too good for us today. There were definitely some tough conditions out there. It was a little disappointing for such a big match to be played in such rough conditions, but at the end of the day it was the same for both sides. Auburn was just too good for us today."

If the projections are correct, Georgia will still be #1 seed for NCAAs.

Auburn needed the points by beating them in the final to move to #1. Beating LSU doesn't change much.
