If LSU has everyone, I think they are making a run. That roster is young and now experienced. They will have 3 players with higher UTRs than our #1. They are going to be hard to keep up with! Times are changing. Auburn and LSU might be SEC favorites

Texas just signed the girl that was committed to us. We weren't able to get her admitted into school, but Texas was able to get her in. She would have been a difference maker.

Unfortunately recruiting hasn't been the same since we won the NCAAs. Still holding out we sign one or two big ones before Spring.

The tu post seemed to be very specific that we signed an "athletic scholarship agreement". I don't think I have seen a recent announcement sounding like that. I wonder if something more is going on there.

I'm assuming she took the better NIL offer more than anything. I have no insider knowledge but that seems to be the most likely reason.

I assumed the school. Somewhere in admissions. Mind boggling for a school that prioritizes athletics.

I think there was more involved. We may never know exactly what happened, but a simple chatgpt query of the TOEFL requirements and acceptance rates for international student athletes between both schools shows that it should be much easier to get into texas a&m as an international athlete. regardless, tu got her and we didn't. hoping Mark has a solid plan if we don't have a backup plan for line 1 this year. might be a real focus on doubles and guaranteeing wins at 4-5-6.

Clemson lost both of their assistants/associate hc and their #1 player in the span of a month. The one AHC took a NAIA job. Very strange.

This is what's happening in almost all sports these days. Really hard for the 18 year olds to compete with the older more experienced 22-24 year old freshmen.

Joey Scarvino at Baylor was ahead of his time back when he was recruiting the Iron Curtain players back in the early 2000's. That's how he won the national championship back then. His #1 player was a 24 year old freshman Bulgarian (I think that was her nationality), that when she played Anna Lubinsky at #1 Anna was outmuscled by age. The entire Baylor squad was international players for years.

I was curious so checked, only one American player on the current Baylor roster. Past rosters during his tenure were overwhelmingly foreign players. A few years had a few American players but not for long. Interesting.

Moyano completes the sweep in W15s in Lima winning back-to-back-to-back doubles titles.

Maybe Baylor feels guilty and that's why the Hurd family set up the award and $100,000 prize for american college players;only to give the last three to a sip, a girl from San Antonio, and Texas Aggie Mary Stoiana.
