I think the thought is that if Bucky could round up an entire roster that is pretty good and competitive despite a) being the last coach hired at a P4 school and b) being without its best player basically the entire season, there will be a greater level of talent next year after recruits have seen proof of concept and Bucky has a longer time period to recruit.

It is a bummer that this stretch has not been great, but we are still ahead of where we thought we'd be and nobody that follows Aggie hoops should be anything but optimistic about the direction of this program under Bucky.
