Concerning news is I think you need to beat at least one of Kentucky or Arkansas to have that "big win" on your resume

I said with 13 games left, if we win the two at home,
then go 1-4 in that rough stretch, a bery doable 3-3
fimish gets us to 10-8 and the Tourney.

It's not like we didn't all know this was likely gonna happen. Bucky stated this would happen before the season ever started.

Well folks. I thought the game was at 7:00 tonight! Maybe just as well. Just don't have a nine game losing streak as Buzzman did once. Oh well

I absolutely hate Pig. And as much as I hate it, they're gonna go balls deep in us.

I just wonder if we ought to leave Rueben on bench at beginning of games and cut his minutes substantially until he's able to get over his slump. Also, Agee looks like he's totally run down but we don't have anyone at all to take serious minutes for him. Fede is out of it and that foul called on him with 4 seconds in half helped seal our fate!

I said I would be happy at .500 before the season started.

FT's were 29-10. That seems a like a huge advantage for a team that takes over half their shots from behind the arc.

Ive been this teams biggest fan but where its warranted I've voiced frustration, like just about all us here. So instead of launching on someone for posting how about you just keep to yourself and stfu

Read a room

I knew this road game at Vanderbilt would be very tough. We have lost 4 consecutive games to drop to 17-8 and 7-5 in SEC play. Hopefully, we snap a 4-game losing streak with a home win over Ole Miss on Wednesday.

You're right I should've worded it better. I think Ole Miss is a bad team. OU is a sneaky team that's had a rough luck season.

Both are teams we should beat though

We are in the most competitive conference in basketball wr are really 8-4 (corrected for Bama). This team is short on size and scorers. We have to play spectacular and we are an intramural team. We have done great things just got to scrape out 3 more wins.

We're not playing the same way we were before. The offense doesn't have the same flow. We're not passing the ball as well as we were before, which is why we had way fewer assists than normal.

You can't rely on the three-point shot and shoot 28% on the road and expect to win.

Dominguez has basically giving you nothing the past four or five games. Agee shot 25% today.

The team needs to get their heads out of their asses.

We have to have at least 4 guys in double figures to win. We have no consistent scorers which hurts if no one is making 3's to open driving lanes.

We definitely haven't been sharp but the way we're being defended is a real issue also. For that matter, the way we're being attacked as well. I thought we made some good adjustments today but if you can't make shots or rebound it doesn't make much difference. As for defense, other than Agee, none of our bigs are fundamentally sound. It's one reason they foul too much.

Rebounding was equal today, which is something it is usually not. Rebounding was not the issue.

The season is falling apart. We need to get back on our game soon or the team will be watching basketball on TV in March instead of being watched on TV.

This. Very good post. Need to keep perspective of where we were when Bucky took over.

A lot of folks on here appear to have no ability to evaluate the comparative strength of our upcoming opponents except by looking at standings and winloss records from earlier in the season. There is not a single terrible team on our remaining schedule that we can count on beating . We will earn and be thankful for winning even a few of these games.

Officiating was gruesome. Seems like if you are taller over the back and body fouls are ok. That said, we were outmatched again. Any more wins is gonna be tough. Hard to win when your tallest player is 6-6, and the opponents have figured out to focus on your best shooter.

I think I would coach to be extremely physical at the basket and not allow layups or dunks. Crush their ass and take the foul if need be. Make them not want to play there.

We struggled with them at home. And that's when we were absolutely rolling. A loss in Norman wouldn't surprise me in the least, the way we're going
