Embarrassing basketball and horrible 2 weeks. Losing at home on Wednesday is why we dont go anywhere when the season is all said and done. We're being proved out to not be a competitive team when it's nut cut time.

The fact we got close to 70 points is surprising given this effort. We could win on an off-shooting night with any basic amount of defense and rebounding.
Reality is this is an NIT/bubble team. Gave us some hope but the last 2 weeks they have folded. Good first year for Bucky. Almost complete new team next year again but with more time to portal. Year 2 could be great

At this moment, we've made more field goals than them but we've shot 15 less free throws. We've got two less boards and only four less assists. Steals and blocks are even and we've only got one more turnover.

I don't think anything has changed. Rebounding and defense are our bigger strategic problems, beyond personnel issues on offense.mustang1234 said:

We are bad on defense especially for the SEC and don't have a consistent scorer.

They've also figured out A&M defensively. Don't even remember the last time we got a turnover pressing. They are who everyone thought they are. There was a reason they were picked 13th in the SEC

Very true. Many on this board were ready to anoint the team as conference champions not long ago and complaining lunardi had the Ags seeded too low. Seriously, aggie jokes write themselves.

This is an overreaction. We need to see this for what it is. We have roster limitations this year. The team grinds and they play hard. We need to just root for this group and hope they can find enough shots makes or muck it up enough to slip into the tourney.
This isn't an indictment of our style or our coach. We're doing well given the circumstances, the real proof will come next season when we should have a much more complete roster.

We're short. Being six inches shorter across the board is going to lead directly to all those things.
Thank God baseball season is here. It currently helps lessen the pain for now.
