We REALLY need to utilize three thinhs more in our future offense:

1) Dibba in the corner
2)Clemence 1v1 on a smaller player
3) Hill- give him room and get the hell outta the way


Dominguez / Pop / and Griffen seem to be disappearing.

Lane looks like he has lost sime confidence.

Federiko and Vinson are both wastes of physical advantages.

At this point I just want to make the tourney.

The book is only out though if you have the athletes to do it.

And I still think it's actually less about our bigs than it is about our guards. How many of their boards that half came because we got blown by in the backcourt and then we had to come up and help.

When you do that you're playing a bad numbers game on the boards.

Wonder how hurt Mgbako was

Not sure but we need him; no one can just go get a bucket when we need it. Also we don't have someone that can really defend and shut down the opponent's hot guy. IMO this team really proves Bucky is a helluva coach to win with this talent.

Pop needs to stop trying to get fouled when he does penetrate and just actually try to make the basket. If he'll do that then the fouls will come, but he keeps trying all kinds of weird feet shuffles and stuff trying to get fouled and then he doesn't make the shot.

Only thing weird is Mgbako didn't look that good before he was out for the season. But maybe he was already hurt. Didn't make sense given his previous production.

Feels like it is happening a lot off the press - nobody is able to keep the basketball in front of them and we are getting blown by 75 feet from the basket. If the opponent slows up, we recover, but if they keep the pedal down, it's almost a guaranteed bucket or offensive rebound.

Hill can if they're not like 6-6. That's one thing we really don't have is a rangy defender. Dibba's feet are a little slow to guard elite wings and Griffen just isn't a very good on ball defender.

He was hurt in September and never got better. I don't think he got "reinjured" so much as it just became too unbearable and he needed to shut it down and get surgery.

I don't think he was ever more than about 65% healthy.

I hope we get him back next year and he is 100% during the summer. Excited to see a healthy and conditioned Mbacko.

But every team we recently lost to has a 6'6 guy to defend Hill; every player on the team has a major flaw at this level (i.e height, athleticism, toughness, knowledge of the game).

Part of my problem with Ruben is his shot selection. Like we could've set things up there and had some momentum but we jacked up a contested NBA level shot

Ruben needs to be more aggressive and force more scoring and learn to be more of a scorer. He doesn't use the fear of his shot against his defender. When has he used a pump fake?
