Unwelcome visitor by my backdoor. I walked right past it to cook some steaks and saw it on the return trip. Didn't make one sound.

Found this little guy by my pool equipment. Appears dead but when I pick it up it wraps its tail around my finger but otherwise is completely immobile. Not sure if it's just nerves or something? No other movement whatsoever.

Might have a neurological disorder. Does it look like it is always looking at the sky? If so, may be "Stargazers" disorder. It's a neurological issue.

It's moving around when we aren't watching, doesn't seem to be staring at the sky, but maybe just hadn't noticed that. I'll keep an eye on it. Just want my kids to be able to see it later.

Thought it was a baby rat, much cooler than water snake.

Contribution: saw this nest on Lake Fork today. Saw more than a dozen other than these throughout the day. Got a good teaching moment with the guys I was fishing with to identify water snake vs. CM by the vertical jaw lines, thanks to this thread

Question: what's the identifier of baby cottonmouth vs. baby copperhead - I seem to remember the black dot in the Hershey kiss shows it's a CM?

Found this guy at Natural Bridge Caverns in San Antonio on Friday while doing an archery shoot. A guy in our group almost stepped on him.
