Speaking of, Imai pitched 3 innings tonight, allowing 1 hit, 1 earned run, striking out three .... and walking 5.

But the next guy out of the pen was a sight for sore eyes. JOSH HADER. 1 inning, no hits, 1 walk, 1 strikeout.

I guess that eliminates trading Isaac for pitching. Sadly Carlos getting hurt actually impacts our pitching depth.

This clears up the infield logjam temporarily.

This is the infield from last year before CC was acquired. This may actually help Paredes get completely back on track by knowing he will be in the lineup at 3rd almost every day.

At some point it isn't bad luck but organizational failure. Be it ignoring risks in trades/signings/extensions, bad medical reviews/diagnoses/rehabs, inadequate training philosophy, various and sundry other factors.
