Lawyer has to get paid somehow. Illegal doesn't understand the system, so lawyer stretches it out. Just a guess.

I mean it's the first year of a four year turn. I get waiting it out if it was the last year but I'm trying to envision the winning scenario here for them.

And I doubt the immigration lawyers for the type of people getting detained by ICE are wearing $5k suits…..

I imagine that a chunk of them are being poorly advised by their NGO lawyers to stick around because they need the political tool of having them remain. If they leave, there is nothing to gain.

Every tool at Homan's disposal needs to be focused on getting them back to their country asap. Absolutely ridiculous we imported that large of a population of people from any country.

After being reminded of the garbage left strewn all over Texas on their way in, some of those tools need to be garbage collection tools they can use to clean up their mess on the way back to the border.

Fat chance. I pick up backpacks, water bottles, Bumble Bee tuna cans, and clothing all the time. Also find blankets stashed up in bushes and trees just off the ground and occasional good stashes buried and camouflaged.

Quick note… Kudlow had Charlie Hurt on his show this afternoon and Kudlow trotted out Homan replacing Noem as DHS secretary. Trump was asked about Noem staying in her role as he went to AF1 today, and he reaffirmed his support.

But Kudlow has Trumps ear and vice versa. Personally I like Homan on the field, but he again has done too good a job and in particular with toning it down in MSP.

Thought it was interesting. Feels like a deliberate trial balloon particularly if more "suggestions" surface.
