I want the higher seeds to win today. Makes better/tougher matchups tomorrow. Hoping for some of the teams around us for seeding lose tomorrow. Also tougher matches tomorrow maybe makes our Friday easier. Anyway, dead diary or whatever, but that's my rooting-for analysis.

ETA: by "higher" seed I mean better. Closer to 1. Technically the lower number numerically, but I still think that's the "higher"'seed.

Yes, especially if other hosting bubble teams have good tournaments. The announcers today pretty much stated that Ole Miss needed to win this one and possibly tomorrows game against State.

First win in the SEC Tournament for Mizzou since they beat Aggies in 2017. That loss almost cost A&M a NCAA Tournament bid due to bid stealers winning tournaments but our luck would hold with a run to Omaha.

in the old days the Rebels would be a lock for the Hattiesburg/Southern Miss regional

yes, that loss ended up being a good one -- to stop a deep run in Hoover

made sure A&M would be a 3-seed...and UH was a great fit

There haven't been enough games in this tournament for me to have formed an opinion, but the ABS strike zone in MLB is too small. Walks are up, and walks add time to games, something MLB has worked hard to reduce.
