Felt like Joey the Wop turned the corner last year for Toronto. Was hoping he would continue that trend for us - so far so good.

I know Ketch says it's not player induced decisions with Pena not starting every other game, but if it's not, then whoever is making the decisions needs to come forward and explain wtf is going on. No reason to play him if he's not healthy and also no reason to sit him if he is healthy. So which is it? Is he healthy or not?

I think Joey Lopes is probably going to have some sizable stretches where he looks like crap, but I just love his energy, he's busting his ass on everything in the field and at the plate, sorta what you want from your team. I was really bummed they traded him the first time and so happy to see him back.

I don't think he'll ever be a Hunter Pence caliber player, but he reminds me of him for the hustle and how pissed I was when we traded Pence, even though we did get the Mount Rushmore of Jon Singleton, Jarred Cosart, Domingo Santana, and Josh Zeid for him.

And Espada not only doesn't start Peña tonight but he moved Walker up to the five spot in the batting order. Wish he wouldn't write a different order every single game. Would think it's tough on the hitters. In comparison rookie Angels manager Suzuki had the same batting order the first three games.

has to be. Unless Yordan is in LF, every outfield configuration we send out will necessarily be the weakest hitting outfield in baseball.

It wont be surprising if Walker has a bounce back season. The Abreu recancy bias impact a ton fan's judgement or opinion of Walker in a bad way.

He's just old. Certainly you hope he gets off to a hot start when he's fresh, the question is whether he can sustain it. Ideally we are resting him regularly.

First regular season start against the Red Sox for LMJ since May 2018!!! None of the Sox have any AB against him. Could see a big difference 1st time thru vs later in the game
