I tried adding the SCHN app to my Samsung smart TV last night and subscribing but couldn't find the app. I then read somewhere that smart TVs don't have the app yet, so my only options are to screencast from my phone or purchase a Roku or Firestick. Is that right?!?!

In past years, I switched from YTTV to Fubo during baseball season and switched back in the offseason since the Fubo interface sucks. I was trying to not do that again.

The officially supported platforms are:
iOS device (OS version 15+ required)
Android device (OS version 11+ required)
Apple TV (OS version 15+ required)
Roku (OS 11.5+ required)
Fire TV (newest 4K Fire Stick running VegaOS is not yet supported)
PC / Mac via browser

You can cast from your phone but you need to cast from the app itself via Chromecast or Airplay. The app supposedly does not work if you just do full screen mirroring... (haven't tried as I have Apple TV, still by far the best streamer out there )
