I'm left handed and my people have endured (and continue to endure) much hardship in this country. I have created a coalition with other, unrelated disenfranchisees such as fat, short, and ugly people - the LFSU community. We're designing a flag and I'm working with city council on painting a crosswalk to raise awareness. I expect them to turn me down and I think we all know why.

I don't know anything about any pink triangles anywhere, but I can provide information about the banners. There is an existing, approved banner district that includes Montrose Blvd and Westheimer Road. The banner district falls within the purview of the Montrose Management District and the rainbow banners were installed using private funds on Centerpoint poles. Banners are approved by the management district, not COH. The Montrose Management District went dormant around 2018 and tried to come back to life in 2024 to advocate for bike lanes on Montrose Blvd. You can imagine what Whitmire thought about that, so he chose not to appoint new members to the Montrose Management District board, leaving it with three members, which is fewer than the number required by State Law for it to legally operate.
