This is a weird flex all the way around. This feels like a "pick your battle" situation. Monroe is full of gays. It's THE gay part of town. Is having a rainbow crosswalk….thats already painted mind you….really a big deal? Is it really worth burning up more money to remove it? I dunno. I guess I feel there are bigger fish to fry than freaking out over it. Maybe as I get older I just don't care about such frivolous matters. It reminds me of fighting with a toddler over eating a Hershey kiss before dinner. Just not a fight worth having. I also don't care if gay people move in and smoke pot and stay stay high and wear rainbow thongs outside. I mean, you do you, and I'll do me, and all is fine.
Yeah, I'm 53, and I basically see so much stuff being run by millennials who possess zero intellectual curiosity, haven't produced any adult children, may have slightly above average IQ's, and just want to throw down over the stupidest crap. It's a sad answer to the search for meaning.
94chem,
That, sir, was the greatest post in the history of TexAgs. I salute you. -- Dough
