How soggy is that crust? It looks like all the toppings are gonna come off if you pick it up

Yeah, I do don't the tomatoes. It seems a bit redundant for me and yes I think they make the toppings too heavy. I learned this myself making it homemade. If you want them for presentation, they need to be razor thin. Roma or plum tomatoes are better for this.

We discovered that we can eat a 100% seed oil free burger and fries at Stella's Southern Cafe by changing their regular bun to their house made challah bun. Very tasty!

Sun dried ones are nice on pizza. I sliver them and scatter them on top. I agree about fresh tomatoes, which also can make the crust soggy.

Great info thanks! Now that I am over 2 years on my seed oil cleanse I really feel nasty when it slips by

Is there a thread on TexAgs somewhere where we can learn more about restaurant options regarding (lack of) seed oils? Perhaps someone can start one on the Aggieland board? I don't have any info but am interested.

Catering and pop-up out on Tabor Road at AG Farm. Haven't tried it, tho.

+1. You will get very good Thai food at Bangkok or Kluay Kluay, but Siam Ayara is I think the best in town. One note - last time I was there they did not have a liquor license so if you are wanting a beer with your Thai you'll be out of luck there.

Thoughts on best steakhouse in BCS?

Christopher's is our go-to but looking to branch out. We used to go to Porter's but it's been awhile. We enjoyed the Republic but want more sear on a steak. Haven't tried De Baca due to mixed reviews

Removing Christopher's and the Republic right off the bat really hamstrings you when making a list like this.

I prefer the salt/pepper and hot sear kind of steak from Porters. I think that's probably my favorite steak.

But if we're asking for the best steakhouse, I've got to go with Christopher's. We end up there about 90% of the time we want a little higher end meal. They just don't miss. Crawfish fondue is probably my favorite dish I've ever gotten in a restaurant, easy to get in and out of (as compared to Porters at Century Square), and relaxing atmosphere.

We've been to De Baca once, and I was pretty disappointed in the thin little ribeye they charged me $60 for.
