Stopped by Blue Baker on University yesterday on the way out of town. Got my usual cinnamon bagel… plain not cut or toasted…. The price had dropped! I said wow I thought I'd been paying more for that recently….manager said they dropped a bunch of prices where they could and had to raise a couple because of the price of meat they put on their sandwiches. Thought that was pretty cool!

If you hate your job or customers go do something else .
This really shocks me. I've been quite a few times and never had a negative experience. I'm sure Costas will be along shortly to hopefully address this.

Agreed JMac03, I have been probably a dozen times at varying times of the day including late night and never had a bad experience.
I need to figure out who Kev is and just avoid eating with them.

I have never had my order messed up in 10 times and I have never gone with a item exactly how it is on the menu. If you get a puffy taco, it might take three or four minutes but that is because they are making it fresh. The place is wonderful.

If you are talking about the young lady that seems like a manager that moved over from Fuego, I'm not sure your post can be trusted. She has been friendly in every interaction I've had with her over the years.

We have only been 3 times but the service and food was great every time.

Why did you go back 2 more times? After the first 2 bad experiences, I wouldn't have gone back. I've gotten to love Mojo Tortilla.
Some people like being mad. And you can't make them happy because, well, they like being mad.
Nothing but favorable experiences for us @ Mojo. Prices are low. We like to pull through on the way to church.
Tried Mojo twice. Wasn't my jam. Haven't been back since.

The crust at Hullabaloo is different and I prefer it but Trackside makes a really good pizza. Plus Hullabaloo only has pizza on Fridays.
Tomorrow they are having cabrito birria tacos.
Bride and I dined at Bubba's 33 Tuesday evening, seated quickly, quite busy, attentive but tentative server. Drink order taken, and delivered promptly.
"Sunshine Burger" for her, "Crispy Chicken Salad" for me. Both were delicious, my kind of salad (lots of meat).
Other than being noisier than we enjoy, no complaints.Patrons varied, us oldsters, college kids, families.

Tried The Patty Daddy last Sunday. I don't think there's a better combo of quality food and price in town. Amazing smashed burger, beef tallow fries that were hot and crispy, and my wife and I ate (2 double cheeseburgers and split a large fry) for about $20 with tip.
We'll be back quite a bit!

Patty Daddy was good. VERY similar to Burger Mojo (I liked it a little more). Just be advised that it is a greasy little smash burger with no lettuce or tomato style thing. Tasty though.

I know it's in Northgate, but Rough Draught has really good pizzas as well. We like to do a monthly date night there that coincides with the Bourbon Society meeting.
