Massie on MTP this morning. Welker stroking him like the Dem lap dog he is now.

Massie blames his loss on boomers being duped by AI ads and then "broadening the base with uninformed, low information voters). So the man of his people insulted the one who didn't vote for hims as low information, dumb, unengaged and easily duped voters.

Thinks he is a champion of exposing all the things wrong in congress. Back in Epstein and banging on Blanche. Says he knows they did t release thing but he has NEVER put up the receipts. What a chump. For a man who says he is not like the rest of them, but then acts just like the rest of them with such shenanigans.

If you view it through a team GOP vs Team Dem lens and ignore all context and nuance, then yes the GOP cheerleaders could make the disingenuous claim that Massie votes with Dems.

GOP wants big gov that is slightly right of center.
Massie wants little gov that is conservative.
Dems want big gov but nothing right of Pol Pot.

When Massie votes against slightly right of center big gov the GOP wants, the GOP cheerleaders make the false claim that he is voting with Dem's, when in reality he is just voting the same way he has been in the past which is conservative but against big gov. The GOP that wants to advance big gov slightly right of center should be the ones that get called out, not Massie but that conversation is impossible when GOP voters only care about their team winning.

Funding ICE and TSA is not big government. He voted with the democrats not to fund it. Whatever his specious libertarian logic was, he voted against the party he was sent to Washington by his republican constituents to represent. If he wants to be a libertarian, he should run as a libertarian. He wasn't voted out because Team GOP didn't like what he did, he was voted out because the primary voters in his district didn't like what he did. He was sent there first and foremost to represent them, and they decided he did not do a good enough job of doing so.

If the GOP doesn't want to vote with and support small gov conservative policy, then they should quit advertising themselves as such. All they have to do is be open that they are a big gov slightly right of center party then no one will have anything to complain about because they then would be honest.

Unfortunately, nobody in congress has much interest in small gov fiscal responsibility right now. So playing 1 v 434 games is useless. At this point right vs left is where the war is being fought. He sided with the left too many times for his constituents to want to re-elect him. The battle for fiscal responsibility is going to have to wait for when we have enough of a majority in the house to lose a few of the biggest spenders without risking handing the gavel to Jeffries.

Trump in the first term was sabotaged from the beginning. This was supposed to be the term to finally get things done.

I think it's safe to say now that Trump 2.0 is not about draining or getting rid of the Swamp. He's just fine making it his own and doing a refresh on it.

If he has any committee assignments he should be removed. To be honest, kick him out of the party. Send the complete message.

You understand the power given congress comes from the people right and not the party. You only want that district to have a voice when it belongs to someone bought by aipac and Jewish donors. I think that's the whole problem and this is a great example. Massie was elected by the people and he gets a certain amount of power within our government system. Some Americans like you would rather powerful outsiders tell us what to do and others like me want someone not paid for by a foreign government making decisions for me.

And this was a primary for a political party to represent said party. He didn't do what the party wanted and wasn't reliable so they elected someone that would be.

If Massie wants to represent the people at large then run as an independent.

Did the party do it? Did the party spend all that money or a Jewish coalition? No doubt he stepped out of line when he mentioned the aipac handlers. I don't want foreign influences in our government. He has been in 14 years has he changed? He was targeted by Isreal and the Isreal first coalition. We can agree to disagree I see your side you want every republican to follow Trumps master plan and I get it. I hope you can see mine and others that love or hate Massie as a American it makes me a little uncomfortable when another country targets some random house seat.

I don't understand piling on an actual conservative instead of going after Thune, Johnson, or Graham. MAGA has lost its mind.

When you stop voting for conservative things and join dems to prevent conservative things from happening, you arent't a conservative anymore. Hth

Then Trump should have gone have Thune, Graham, Cornyn, Johnson, & others. The animus towards Massie is just stupid and self-sabotaging.

Thune is not up for re-election until 2028. He endorsed Cornyn's opponent. Johnson has tried to get things done and I think Tillis and McConnell have been bigger obstacles than Lindsay Graham.

I won't argue about McConnell and Tillis; they're both terrible. On Johnson, he's done too much. We need to work on the deficit and cutting back government interference into our lives. It's unsustainable, which is why I don't understand why people are so focused on Massie, who actually voted like a conservative.

Because they're low information team playing goofballs.

I have a terrible case of TDS. Trump Dissapointment Syndrome.

Is it cool when George Soros targets house, senate, governor, mayor, prosecutor and LEO seats across the whole Country?

Seems like the Jewish hate needs to be doled out equally, no?

And Adelson is an American and has been for a wee bit. Her business interests are managed quite extensively by her son-in-law, Patrick Dumont, not a Jew.

Maybe step back from the Tucker-Fuentes mindhive of anti-Semitic just a wee bit.

Not ruling out a 2028 POTUS run. Dude has lost his mind.

Says he will spend 7 months causing problems. So he may need another encouragement or two move on.

Massie is team Massie and that is not team USA. Be gone you feckless dolt.

It's not the only issue you seem to have based on your posts. Turning the sun coming up each morning into a grand conspiracy theory before the first cup of coffee can be had is not a healthy approach to assessing the happenings in politics.

When someone gets an unhealthy obsession about anything, especially when its some conspiracy theory about the origins of all the countries problems, it's concerning, and not something that you want in a leader. Massie was good in a lot of respects, but he let one thing in particular completely cloud his overall judgment. That's not the Jews running the government, that's just common sense.

He came into office on a promise to only serve 3 terms. So yes, he has changed.

As somebody else said above, he was perfectly willing to let the whole country swing to the far left and burn down around him as long as he could smugly claim to have taken a principled stand with his votes.

The view where it's acceptable to empower and align with liberal democrats.
