Well yeah, extraordinary claims need extraordinary proof.
I fly a unicorn to work every day. What no one believes me? trust me i do and I wouldn't lie.
If telepathy really was happening, there would be so many documentaries about it yesterday. I watched nova for years, can't wait to see the telepathy episode, uhuh.
The reason there aren't "so many documentaries about it yesterday" is because of
stigma.
Because of attitudes like this that keep legitimate scientists from touching the subject with a ten-foot pole, due to being immediately ridiculed by their peers and folks like you, despite the clear, valid, and painstaking efforts someone like Dickens and her team went through; painstaking efforts to be as transparent and above board as possible, never mind their own initial skepticism and limited resources.
Regardless, now that Dickens and her team are convinced, she *is* now engaging with scientists/research teams to validate. If you'd actually listen to the podcast or any of her interviews, you'd know this.
In the meantime, she's raising awareness in order to help chip away at that stigma.
Again, it's a
process.
She owes to nothing to message board bros demanding immediate, concrete proof/validation. When and if the scientists/research teams can't validate
then you can hem and haw and say "I told you so" all you want.
