ROI???? seriously? the ONLY personal " ROI " you get from 98% of NIL is the chance that it helps makes your school/team successful so you get your pride, or enjoyment, or satisfaction....

Texas Tech alums (and ADs) have completely elevated their sports programs. I'd argue their softball investment has been one of the smartest NIL moves in college sports. Playing fir a NC 2 years straight years, they got EXACTLY what they were seeking, and for a relative pittance . The name Texas Tech now carries some weight in the national consciousness (good or bad) that it didnt have 3 years ago.

Said it back then and say it again, they are one of the best run sports programs in America. period.

We were number one overall seed last year and then Texas won the national championship over Texas Tech. This year they will re match for the national championship while we are stuck again unable to get out of our own regional. You may not care about softball at all and that's fine, but how far we've fallen behind Texas and Tech in softball in terms of accomplishments the past 12 months is most definitely embarrassing.

Texas beat Stanford and UT for the rowing championship as well.

Yet they did bid not win the lone star series.

Equestrian is not included but we were runner ups and would have been NCs but a rider scored a 0 bc she lost hold of the strap..

Oh the irony

Pretty sure tech won't 9 up, 9 down to end it. On top of 3 critical errors on the field.

Kavan was just ridiculous the last two innings. Tech didn't have a chance.

I think Tech blew their chance to winning it all again. We shall see if there is a pitcher like Cadady again that leaves their school after being one of the best her first two years in school. Just don't think that scenario is going to happen that often.

I was also surprised by how their coach seemed to just melt after the error by the SS.

Have a hard time seeing Sellers keep up the inflated roster year over year by himself here.
