Short term: The Reds sweep sucked but winning 3/4 series is a great start.

Medium term: Our schedule is brutal for the first 2 months. If we are .500 at the end of May, we are in good shape.

Long term: If this stadium keeps playing unfair, it's a huge issue. The fact they appeared to do nothing this offseason, is really frustrating.

Duran getting the 2nd start in a row over Jung batting 9th

Evan wrote an article about Jung's slow start and his chase rate is one of the highest in baseball. I imagine CY and Skip aren't too pleased with that

I really do not want to seem like a poo poo on Jung guy, I swear. I am rooting for him. But he's had a chase rate through the roof for most of his career, which doesn't help.

I also can't stand how off balance he is. Every swing he's falling over into the other batter's box. I've never seen another pro do it as much as he does.

That said, we need him to be good and turn it around. I like Duran, but you can't get almost zero slug from your 3rd baseman all year and expect to do well. That's a position that needs to produce offensively.
