4 inches over 24 hours. 1.5 in the Friday overnight and another 2.5 yesterday. And the Ags won. Great day!

I think some of the BVWATERSMART rain gauges forgot how to record precipitation, it's been so long without rain. I recorded 3 inches of rain at my house but the Fitch and Creek Meadows rain gauges didn't record anything. South CS BVWATERSMART subscribers may get an email recommending irrigation next week. Please don't!

Hope all of you fared well with just rain! We have had a few calls from clients this morning in Bryan with missing shingles and water leaks. Check your closets and random places to make sure you are leak free- the wind got wild in some places (currently at a house where more than 50% of the houses on the street are missing shingles).
The added rain really helped. Things aren't so dry around here anymore.

Raining now and the wind is picking up. Time to make sure Halloween decorations are either put away or secured well.

And right off the bat we have dueling opinions. BV watersmart says no watering and Ag Extension says to water.
Some impressive lightning on the south end of the county right now and some rain down the county line.
