In Castlegate. At 2.30pm, my rain gauge had 2" in it and I did not dump it out. I just checked and it now has 6.5".

That lightening was nuts. I was driving to campus to South CS during it. Took me way longer than it should have (but thats okay). One of the thunder booms shook my car.

Grateful for it. Heat dome moving in circa Independence Day and it's gonna be brutal.
5.5 hours now without power. CSU is working on it. Wasn't planning on tossing a lot of stuff out of the fridge tonight but it could be worse.

Has been a long time since I remember a late June day where we had thunder rolling for hours. We enjoyed it and had the tv off and our kiddos doing puzzles while we read!

2.8" near TP HEB! We lost power briefly, which isn't fun when you WFH and have multiple meetings...

As rough as it can be sometimes with the thunder, lightning, etc., I never turn down rain. I will dry up in July but it's been a great June.

And the built in rain delay is just a day or 2; with the heavy rains we have had it needs to delay a week or 2.
Since I'm going to try to go to The Cove again today, that will ensure more storms blow through. Maybe I should wash my car for added insurance.
I'm washing and vacuuming mine before we leave for vacation in the morning so it'll probably pour.
We enjoyed a nice rain shower in SW Valley just now.
