Any system can be gamed, but we can be pretty sure that no one can game the system so much as to get 1299 patents (assuming the number is true).

My point however is we need to let in good immigrants, not random losers whom their home countries don't want and hope won't come back. That is where we are today where we have taken in trash that their home countries don't want back.

What? Getting patents is not that hard, corps have dedicated teams to help employees get them. And yes, the system is easy to game to get that many, I know of a guy with hundreds.

I will admit the the application process is a PITA, but once you get past that, yeah, it's not that hard.

Hell, I got one...then I got 3 more based on derivations of that one - without doing anything. The patent attys just did all that work.

I have to break it to you folks, Indian H1Bs are using the "many patents so I am a genius" route to get "Einstein visas" to get the green card fast tracked. I've seen "influencers" and consultancies spring up to explain and guide the process.

Soon we will be overrun by geniuses! Corporations will be so happy.
