It was an unnecessary shooting even if it can be technically justified. Life in the USA isn't supposed to be cheap. like it is ****hole countries. The protesters are mentally deranged, but that needs to be taken into account instead of used as an excuse to hurt or kill them.

That characterization goes to the reasonableness of the action. But it is restricted to the officer's perception.

Excellent explanation of the law. I am glad that I took the time to read it.

It actually covers and discredits all of the arguments that the leftist are making using actual Supreme Court rulings.

Wrong word (unnecessary). Unnecessary protest employing a SUV. Unnecessary Interference with a legitimate law enforcement situation. The shooting was tragic. Life is not cheap, however let us first apply that to unborn childern and then we can talk.

That is a short take in words, but I don't think I'm smart enough to grasp what you're saying.

My key impression of this event is more philosophical. Given the natures and marching orders of the participants on the ground nothing about what happened that day surprises me.

Now rather than the non participants seeking to establish guilt and innocence and making that the #1 priority, say, here for instance, we should be wanting it to never happen again.
The opposition has brainwashed, funded and weaponized our crazy aunt Karens to create martyrs and win influence. But these ladies are still human beings and Americans. Our leadership needs to step up and figure out ways to accomplish missions without killing these poor fools.
Standing in front of a car driven by a maniac with a hand on the gun is not how to do things safely.

Then, when Rene tried to drive away, she turned her steering to point her wheels AWAY from the officer, which is clearly visible from the officer's cellphone video.

The officer sees this and fires several shots anyway, and continues to shoot when he is at the side of the vehicle.

When she backed up she put the officer in the front of the car. Stop lying.

Here is an idea: Minneapolis police does their job and handles crowd control while ICE does theirs and arrests illegal aliens!

Just crazy enough to work!

The protestors are playing russian roulette

Spit in cops face. Click
Yells in cops face repeatedly. Click
Throws bottles at cops and cars. Click
Bumps and pushes cops. Click
Get behind wheel and trys to run over cop. Boom

It is that simple when you continue to spin the revolver and keep thinking nothing will happen she found out

It is not rocket science. The legal analysis for excessive use of force by a law enforcement officer are not complicated.

Considering "the totality of the circumstances" would a "reasonable officer" perceive the threat presented as a "lethal or serious bodily injury" threat to be met with a "lethal" proportionate response.

Innocence (not an instigator)
Imminence (close in time)
Proportional (to the level of the threat being presented)
Reasonableness (under the totality of the circumstances)

Some states, such as MN have an extra element of a "duty to retreat" or "avoidance". But even the MN statute specifically does not apply to LEOs.

Limp Bizkit, is that you?

I agree. Click click boom. Eventually the chamber is loaded. Of course this is exactly what the Democrat leadership is hoping for. They wanted an "innocent" citizen killed by ICE so they can attack Trump. Plain and simple and as clear as day to anyone with two brain cells to rub together.

A dead person at the hands of ICE on video was the entire point of all of the democratic leadership's rhetoric inciting the NPCs. A dead person at the hands of ICE was the point of sanctuary cities playing by 1861 rules and ignoring federal authority. A dead person at the hands of ICE was the point of Soros et al funding these NPC and rent a mob protests.

The democrats are evil and transparently so.

So much this. ICE agents are present to arrest criminals. They are armed to confront the anticipated level of threat.

MPD on traffic control would use less lethal means to facilitate their mission. Enforcing other laws if they witness violations. Now if the play for those MPD becomes an imminent lethal threat, they will respond accordingly.

You seriously can't be this obtuse. You must be trolling. The cops surrounded the car exactly as they are trained to do. They told her to get out. THAT'S ALL SHE HAD TO DO. Instead her partner said "Drive baby Drive" and she gunned it. It's no different than a cop telling you to put down the deadly weapon, your partner telling you "Do it baby, do it" and you raising that weapon towards the officer. You would be shot and every single state in our country has laws that would justify the cop's actions

Which is exactly why this stuff continues to happen. When I grew up, nobody at all would be taking the side of the deceased. People used to understand that when the cop gave you an order, you followed it. If you didn't, your dumb ass deserved the consequences

Whenever we can take our time to slow things down and lower the temp, we should. And the agents need to understand the insanity behind those liberal cat-lady smiles. training

ICE takes the L on this because they took the life of a crazy women. And the ones who created her got what they wanted. They're fine with the sacrifice. we shouldn't be though.
