Needs to be outlawed. That inside joke has long since run it's course and it ruins the scene anytime I hear it because it's so clownishly absurd.
The latest Hyundai commercial with John Krasinski even has it although I can look at that example as more of an actual joke making fun of it.

I was watching Southland on Netflix last night and the Wilhelm Scream in the above scene felt so over the top/out of place that I get why some productions are now avoiding its use.

Not sure if this has been posted yet because I ain't got time to go through 5 pages, but the lack of hearing damage when firing weapons. There are scenes where characters pop off in a car or an elevator and have no ringing or hearing damage.
