We watched This is Spinal Tap last night what a great flick.

The local Fox station in Dallas ran a story on Reiner, and was showing clips of his movies while the reporter talked. When they showed the clip from Spinal Tap, the reporter paused and they included audio from the clip...Nigel at the piano telling Marty "this is called Lick My Love Pump".

his role in Wolf of Wall St was apparently pretty accurate. You can hear him going all "Mad Max" in the background here

supposedly TMZ tracked down the family had a huge fight at Conan O'Briens party on Saturday night
they must have gone back to the main house where the son snapped.

My link I posted still works and is actually decent quality. I was 15 when this movie was released and never heard of it, which is kind of shocking but it sounds like many haven't either.
I'm over half-way through the movie now and it's pretty good, definitely has some When Harry Met Sally vibes on the big cross country road trip. Need to finish it before tomorrow so I can enjoy the Rewatchables.
Side note: Simmons really has a hit with that show. Tarantino has been on 3 times and he just had Cameron Crowe on when they did Shampoo and he gifted Bill a framed photo of Cush at SMU that was used in Jerry Maguire.
This actually brought me to tears. If all you know about people is what you see, hear, and read on social media, you probably don't know them at all. Which is why we all have to fight against feeling the strongest emotions (like hate) for them. There is too much hate in this… https://t.co/E72LOTRQFO

Ha, that was right before I moved to Brentwood, like a mile or so away. At the little 12-unit apartment complex we lived in, in the unit next to ours was Taran Killam, Mikey Day, and a couple other of their roommates. They were all aspiring actors at the time, and Taran was dating Cobie Smulders (they're married now with kids), and though she didn't live there she used to be over there all the time. We lived next door to them for three years, which happened to correspond with the first three seasons of How I Met Your Mother. It was pretty crazy. We all moved out at around the same time and then Taran got cast on SNL a couple years later. He then got Mikey a job writing for the show, and that's how Mikey eventually became a cast member.

Nick Reiner will be represented by Alan Jackson, who is a very very good defense attorney. He was the prosecutor in the Phil Spector trial, successfully represented Kevin Spacey, unsuccessfuly represented Harvey Weinstein, and most recently won the high-profile case of Karen Read in Massachussets.
IMO he probability of an insanity defense seems pretty high. Would be a very difficult burden for the defense though.
