I knew a fellow fairly well a few years ago who in college played guard for McNeese State in Louisiana. He had really good speed, which Washington Redskins Coach Allen liked, so he made the team for one or two or three years covering kickoffs. Jurgenson for some reason came to like him; he said the quarterbacking 'rounder' taught him how to drink whiskey by the half-gallon (which he was no longer doing by the time I knew him. I think he let it go when football stopped and marriage came along).

I think when I die I want my ashes dropped in the Guadalupe just below canyon lake. One last float and end up in the Laguna Madre.

I really thought he died 10+ years.

Billy Steinberg died yesterday. Maybe not exactly a celebrity, but if you grew up in the '80s, you have heard some of his songs.
