Hate to hear it even though he was on my list.....
May have to go pour one out at the Landing Strip in remembrance.

This one hurts. I knew he was in bad shape, but not that bad.
"I don't wanna wait for our lives to be over, I want to know right now, when will it be" rings iconic.

Get your colonoscopies on time everyone! It's 45 for those that don't know/care. He waited until 47 I believe. Cost him his life.

Get them done earlier than that. We are seeing more and more young people with colon cancer.

If you have any changes in bowel habits or unexplained weight loss, see your GP and ask them to refer you to get scoped. Not Cologuard. Not a virtual colonoscopy. Just go get scoped.
I've had seven of them. Was diagnosed Stage 4b at age 39 and two recurrences. Having some survivor's guilt with this news. I really thought he would beat it.
Get checked on schedule or if something changes in your body that you notice. You do not want to enter the world of advanced stage cancer.

What is your favorite prep for those of us nearing that age?

I'm guessing y'all saw that rectal cancer was the underlying cause of death for Catherine O'Hara, too. Man, cancer sucks.

The poop in the box is pretty cheap. Not quite as good but it's better than nothing.

My insurance wouldn't cover one before 45
