Early did nothing wrong with leaving Freshcorn in. He is undoubtedly your best pitcher. The batter made a perfect swing on that pitch. You blame the offense tonight entirely.

Sdao can't give up a fly ball without whipping his head around thinking it's going on the train tracks. He's been bad all year and has gotten worse

Exactly I'm not overly excited about early. Exhibit A would be the post Schloss drop off especially the pitching ; every Schloss team can pitch

He's like a poor man's Rob Childress, minus the major league pitchers.

Exactly. If Sims could give us 3 innings yesterday you chase with Fresh and we move on. Coaching moves 1000x better than last year. Need to get going in bottom half and put pressure back on them.

You think leaving your normal closer for close to 100 pitches is ok when he has already put 2 on base?

I can live with leaving Freshcorn in. Didn't love it, but he's the best we got. Just don't call 2 straight change ups to start the AB, his 3rd best pitch. I don't know if he's even thrown it much at all this year until tonight. We went to the slider down and in too many times on that guy.
