This . And it's why Texas A&M is a regional program and not a national program.
We don't win championships, we don't win conference tournaments or make SEC championship games.

of the 36 innings played over 4 games...

the Ags only had the lead at the end of 10 of the 36 frames

2 of 9 vs. Lamar
6 of 9 vs. Texas State
2 of 18 vs. USC...woof

NIL money needs to be showered on pitchers. We won't have the offense or, should I say, the potential offense we had this year. New NIL acquisitions also means that there may need to be a cleansing of the pitching and the pitching coach or both. I'm not sure that Early has the huevos to make either happen.

And, unless Pennington has COMPLETE dominion over hitting, we'll see the same stuff we saw this year NEXT year. If things go south next year, I'm cool with Pennington becoming the HC. The guy's a winner. Always has been. Early is uninspiring and doesn't seem to have what it takes to get us over the hump.

I'm not in the fire Earley camp, but if this has legs I'm cool with it.

The Giants have been embarrassing this season. Highly doubt they are going to let Vitello go though. Not yet. Borg (3rd base coach) got shifted because he is a bum that doesn't know when to send players home and has cost them numerous outs in tight games. The club doing a staff shakeup right now is just tabloid garbage.

That being said, I have definitely been wrong before. Front offices sometimes don't follow good sense and order. Probably the cocaine.

They've been playing very poorly for the last couple months. The only thing that saved them this season was that a white hot offense covered up absolutely horrendous pitching for a month and change in the middle. We also played what turned out to be a pretty easy SEC schedule in the middle of the season.

Credible source is the coaches themselves. I know 2 of them. They both said no thanks. Both didn't think we had the resources lined up for baseball. Honestly don't care whether you want to believe it or not. Whatever makes you feel better but I have news for you, they aren't calling or texting KR to make sure he's in the know.


This is the whispered secret throughout coaching circles. Look at how long it took us to raise money for the player center. We still don't have a major sponsor for the renovation. Yeah, we got a decent bump when people were pissed at POS but we don't have a BMA swooping in to save baseball. And there aren't enough of us smaller donors to move the needle.
