Wild take....

Im tired of being happy to finish 3rd in the SEC and being content that we maybe progress to levels we had achieved/expected previously, next year
Sorry if that's unpopular and that excuses permit our finish with some. We're better than our Missouri performance last year but the measuring stick of success seems a bit off now and we're strangely content with that.

I honestly think we'll know a lot next year. He's going to have to replace all of his inherited talent. If he's able to do so he may have a chance. If he can't then he's going to need a moving company. He has a Top 10 class right now but with a lower average grade than most in the Top 15. I guess we'll see how they pan out. He's probably earned a little slack on the recruiting front. ... At least on offense.

Tough tourney where our deficiencies caught up and our one asset went colder for longer than we could survive. Hurts to lose in this manner. I am sure all the experts here will chime in next few days to let us know how to fix everything. Which is cool. Doesn't matter though.
Now begins the long dark until football starts up.

I'm not in the fire Earley camp, but if this has legs I'm cool with it.

Oh, gawwwwwsh. If you thought the baseball program made you nervous, just thinking about a predicted 8-4 football season should make things a bit grayer.

another measure of how poorly A&M played in this regional...
of the 36 innings played over 4 games...
the Ags only had the lead at the end of 10 of the 36 frames
2 of 9 vs. Lamar
6 of 9 vs. Texas State
2 of 18 vs. USC...woof

Yeah, we could not catch a break at all tonight. USC should beat UNC and go to college World Series.

See now I'm genuinely inclined to trust you more Mrs.Trouble. What's the real story if KR got it wrong?

There is exactly 0 chance USC beats UNC

Source? I trust the nation's top college baseball reporter more than a random poster unless said poster has a credible source.
Credible source is the coaches themselves. I know 2 of them. They both said no thanks. Both didn't think we had the resources lined up for baseball. Honestly don't care whether you want to believe it or not. Whatever makes you feel better but I have news for you, they aren't calling or texting KR to make sure he's in the know.
