Elander has been hired as the new Vols HC. Plus, wasn't Schnall just granted a hefty extension? Or was that a fever dream?

And now we will see who has the better hitting coach to HC pipeline!


I was slammed at work so I didn't get to break the news to y'all first. But I am gonna lord it over a volbro who told me on twitter it was gonna take 8 moths for them to make a decision

Probably not but Vandy baseball hasn't been as dominant since the full implementation of NIL which allowed teams to fully fund most of their baseball teams scholarships instead of the 11.7 cap that Vandy circumvented by using the university endowment to fully fund their team.

Not sure i agree with hasnt been dominant but yes it effects them differently


From 2010 to 2021 they only missed the Supers twice had 2 CWS championships and 2 runner ups. They haven't made the Supers since 2021. Right about the time NIL really got implemented.

I was worried. It was like a whole 40 mins after the news broke before I made the post. Wild. I was thinking, " Where is Swimmy? Is she ok? Is she safe?!"

I'd assume they'll end up promoting someone from the assistant staff. The real question is whether any players will decide to enter the transfer portal this December.

They already promoted Josh Elander, and hired Florida's interim coach as an assistant.
