I have said this to others, more times than I can count, but Blue Bell needs to bring Christmas flavors in July. Nothing better than eating those flavors and thinking about cooler weather...I emailed Blue Bell but got no response....

I've been asking them (phone & email) to bring back banana split for years. They won't give you a reason. Remember when it first came out and it had real banana in it? Then they replaced it w/ banana flavored ice cream. Still good!

I don't understand how they can leave pistachio almond and black walnut on the permanent flavors and not put something like banana split on there. How many people are buying pistachio almond & black walnut?

I'm not sure which version I had. I thought it had real banana in it but it's been so long. Lots of boomers eat pistachio ice cream and to my surprise it ain't bad. You do bring up a great point though. Neither come close to the Banana Split flavor they once offered. It's next level

I could taste the cheesecake. It was good but it didn't blow my mind like a NY cheesecake DQ blizzard. I prefer chocolate ice creams but if I wanted something less intense I'd get this again.

My favorite to just eat on it's own is Cookies and Cream, and Homemade Vanilla with cake or pie. Recently I've discovered this and it's fantastic.

And rightly so. Creamy Creations is way better than Blue Bell. BB has gotten so artificial in flavor. Creamy Creations is also smoother and creamier than BB.

Yep, Creamy Creations is surprisingly good. HEB's "Swoon" brand is good also. Cherry Pistachio is my go-to.

Nothing beats Graeter's Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip, but my local HEB doesn't carry it.

Yep, Creamy Creations is surprisingly good. HEB's "Swoon" brand is good also. Cherry Pistachio is my go-to.

I know it's not very Texan thing to do. But Tillamook, makes the best ice cream that's sold at local grocery stores. I've never had Swoon, or Graeter's. I did do a taste test with Blue Bell, Tillamook, and Dryer's/Eddy's

Tillamook is awesome. It's currently #2 behind the HEB Creamy Creations Poteet Strawberry for my favorite strawberry ice cream.

I have also converted to Creamy Creations from Blue Bell.

I have tried several ones. One of my favs at this time is the Texas Campfire.

Like several others as well but this one is at the top right now.

Ben & Jerry's Strawberry Cheesecake is my go to. I know, it's pricey, so I just wait for Kroger to get it down to $2.99 a pint on a weekly digital deal or when they do a BOGO (comes out to like $2.75 each) and then load up on a few flavors

I finally tried some after repeatedly seeing it on here. It's probably just the conditioning of eating majority Blue Bell my whole life, but that texture is just not for me.
