Help an old man out.

Flying Lufthansa out of Term D. Ubering to the Airport. Do I need to go to D and check bags? Then walk to E to clear security? Then walk back to D to access my gate?

additional info: Flight leaves at 1630. Taking no chances and plan to arrive at Bush around noon

Wanted to give an update to everyone from my experience this morning at IAH. I went through security at terminal E, I do have TSA pre-check it took five minutes. I'm such a dork. I started the timer on my phone to turn it. The regular line might have been 10 minutes.

I will report back on lines tomorrow.
If you check the online wait times they report, it currently shows A is 10 minutes and E is 45 minutes.

If I didn't have Precheck, I'd be there 3 hrs early. I'll do 2 just to be safe.

I agree as I checked wait times this morning pre check was 45 min, I think wise without to be there 3 hrs before

Just went through precheck in A and took 5 minutes. Regular security looked like 10-15.

I am flying out of C, but didn't go through E because reported to have longer lines.

Going through C now at IAH. They have no pre-check open at C, so its all regular security. Took about 25 minutes to get through.

Is terminal C still closed for security?

No it's open but they didn't have precheck for my hubs yesterday.

Headed to airport tomorrow for a 5pm flight. Have United premier and planning to get there 2.5 hrs early. Seem right?

You should be fine. Hubs got through in non precheck line in 30 min. Generally lines are shorter later in the evening.

the gov't isn't shutdown any longer. IAh is back to normal.
