Based on the BS answer the rules expert on tv just gave, it sounds like he's getting special treatment.

I've been pulling for the Blue Jays given the Dodgers massive deferred contracts. MLB hasn't addressed that stuff but it's a problem.

Mostly want to see an exciting game. Pulling for the Blue Jays. Been a long time since they've won and the Dodgers are kinda like the new Yankees.

Agreed, plus it was nice having Scherzer when our Rangers won the Series two years ago. He's still an animal!

Sure. If it was bases loaded in the ninth where it would push across the winning run. But it was early in the game and not a huge benefit for that sacrifice.

I would like to have seen Doc go with Klein to start as a "long relief" to start the way Scherzer did. Would have given Shohei a few innings to get loose before bringing him to the mound. Oh well. Baseball gonna baseball.
Even if he does nothing else in his MLB career, Yesavage will be a legend in Jays history if they can hold this lead.
