TEX went into CLE with nothing to play for, with a group of AAA players, against the hottest team in baseball who had EVERYTHING to play for. TEX won game 1, and got within 1 out of going to extras in game 2. And HOU fan calls out the Rangers for folding? I mean, really? It's the Rangers' fault? The team you just swept? So... I had a work trip to India that went 13 days. Got home after 30hrs of flying (including a 16hr flight from DEL to JFK).
My wife apparently had the new Covid and promptly gave it to me. That put me down for about 4-5 days. It was like a bio-weapon. I'd be fine... then all of a sudden, like someone pressing a trigger, it'd hit and I needed to lay down. 3-4hrs later I'd wake up.
Then, finally getting better and our Pastor last Sunday, with all the toxic Social Media surrounding the Charlie Kirk assassination, challenged us to go a week without SM. I made it. I was so bored being away from TA that I finally got some of the things around the house updated.
Thanks for holding the fort down and eliminating the Astros.

On the pregame show, Bochy was asked about "next year" and his contract being up after the season. Bochy didn't sound like somebody who was planning on retiring (I know some here are wanting that). Said he and CY would be talking soon after the season and discussing things.
