I would have no hesitations giving him the series MVP just based on his defensive work alone.

I'm having a bit of a hard time with the bullpen management yesterday, specifically giving Keller 2 innings. I think it is a reasonable ask in a vacuum, but Kittredge as plan B having thrown the 2 previous days is pretty risky. Thankfully it worked.

I don't struggle with the quick SP pulls if they are clearly struggling or don't have their best feel. But Taillon was dealing after a month of pitching extremely well. It just seems like extreme over managing to pull him in favor of lefty matchups that early on. Surely you cannot expect the bullpen to cover 4-5 innings every postseason game.

Again it all worked out, thankfully. Does Boyd go on normal rest game 1 or do you extend his rest window with all the innings he's accumulated? Start Rea, who has been pretty hot lately? I am guessing it will Boyd. My gut actually says Rea should take the ball in game 1.

Agree.....I'm super nervous about 5 and 7 games series and how this staff handles it on the bump....it feels like we barely have the horses to get through a 3 game series. The only solution I see is taking someone from the rotation and using them out of the pen. I'm sure Horton's status will also play a role in how they move forward.

agree. JT was on point and looked great. I don't think it matter about left or right batters. I think counsel doesn't like the 3rd time through lineup, but still feel he had a few more innings.
