The sips need to quit whining about scheduling Ohio State. UGA plays Ga Tech, Florida plays Florida State and Miami, South Carolina plays Clemson, Kentucky plays Louisville, Iowa plays Iowa State, Miami plays Florida and Notre Dame. A&M beat Notre Dame at South Bend. Schedules are made years in advance. Who knew Indiana would be good 5 years ago? Would Texas be making the same argument if they scheduled IU and lost to them instead of Ohio State? They scheduled and beat a BAD Michigan team last year and were crowing about playing anyone, anywhere. Besides, even with the Ohio State loss, they remained in the Top 10 until they lost to a very bad Florida team.

Don't lose to Florida, get blown out by UGA, and go to OT against bad Kentucky and Miss State teams. All Texas has proven is they can be good and they can be bad, which is what their record says it is at 9-3.

No one should buy their scheduling spin. Texas scheduled easy wins against UTEP (2-10), San Jose State (3-9), and Sam Houston State (2-10) for a combined 7-29 record on the season.

Sark just needs to STFU.

Don't forget, Mack Brown politic'd them into the BCS in 2004/2005.

As I said, I get that part. But just answer this one question: if the South Carolina game was a loss, would you want Elko campaigning for a playoff spot? Because A&M would be a bubble team with a tough case to make there are several two-loss teams in the mix.

Don't you think he owes that respect to his players? And to the fans?

At the end of the day, I don't think Texas is making the playoffs either. But bashing Sark for campaigning for a playoff position is ridiculous. That's literally his job

It's not the fact that he's lobbying. It's the fact that he comes off as such a petulant, whiny d-bag in the process. He's arguing with no facts on his side. He's cherry picking data points to try and make folks feel sorry for him and his team. His argument is full of holes and fails to take into account the Horns' full 12-game regular season.

If he wants to whine, at least whine with ALL of the facts. He's not doing that, so he comes off looking like a spoiled brat.

Like I said earlier in this thread, for the first time in their history, Texas is just 1 of 16 equal parts in the SEC. They don't get to make the rules so they get a bigger slice of the pie. They are being treated exactly like everyone else in the league and THEY ABSOLUTELY HATE IT! Knowing that their revenue check is exactly the same as Vanderbilt's and Mississippi State's is blowing their minds. They don't know how to act when everything is equal and it's causing Sark and the Texas fan base to lose their minds.

You want him to build his case on his losses? This is such a weird thread.

If he wants the committee to "look at the body of work" (ie the Saban strategy), you have to look at the entire resume, and there is a lot of stank on it.

There would have to be some insane levels of corruption for texas to get in. Based on the rankings today, they have zero shot

Honestly they have a better resume than Notre Dame

In what way?

Be specific.

They have 3 losses. 1 to an unranked 4-8 team.

ND has 2 losses by 4 points to top 15 teams.
