Our schedule is better than both Indiana and TX Technical, period.

LSU, FL, State and Mizzou would all be 9+ win teams with their schedules. Maybe Auburn as well.

I think it's more noticeable and therefore talked about because of the teams we don't play this year. Our strength of schedule is tougher but it doesn't look that way when you see that we miss Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma, Vanderbilt.

What? IU went 0-1 in the playoffs. They were down 20-3 going into the 4th.

It was 27-3 in the 4th until IU scored 2 TDs at the very end to make the final score more respectable.

The record of Ohio State's last four opponents in the Big 10 is 12-29 overall and 5-25 in conference. And their next game this Saturday is against......Rutgers.

Their best wins are against a 7-3 Illinois team and a 7-3 Texas Longhorns team.

You can play the 'Haven't played anyone' game to varying degrees with several teams currently ranked in the Top-10, even the all-mighty Ohio State who of course gets the benefit of the doubt because of history (including recent history).

It doesn't really matter. A&M either will or will not officially put the 'Haven't played anyone' narrative to rest after playing Texas and (hopefully after winning that game) playing in the SEC title game versus Bama or Georgia.

This. OSU has beaten FBS teams with a combined record of 46-46. They've played 4 B1G teams with losing records and not a single team with 8 wins or more.

It might very well be, but they haven't played an offense that would test them yet. We will find out during the big 10 championship game.

I was on YouTube a couple of weeks ago. Torres was praising A&M. But his normal talking voice was like yelling and 90 mph. I clicked off of it and have not watched any of his stuff again. But seriously, these guys are click bait guys for the most part and do not really know football. We need more guys like The Film Guy.

Here is also a fact.

Prior to SC TAMU had not been tied or behind in any conference game in the 4th quarter this season.

We boat raced almost every opponent. Even Arkansas who everyone likes to bring up was never in doubt.

The haters are very quick to forget that Georgia AND Ole Miss were trailing in the 4th quarter against Florida

We have more wins against our schedule in comparison to the expected wins for an average team having over any other schedule in the country.

Many teams who scathe through the current big 12 or acc have easier schedules but don't hear as much.

Most just don't get that Auburn beats a lot of top tier teams from other conferences, for example. Came within a bad call from beating Oklahoma and Georgia. While Auburn, Miss state, Florida, lsu is a 4 game stretch against bad sec records, it's just not the same as playing a 4 game stretch against Baylor, Kansas state, West Virginia, Oklahoma state. Always amazes me why some can't see that.

Love how he has to qualify his schedule criticism with "in SEC play." That's why we schedule a top 10 in our OOC, bud.

Buckeyes top OOC is at #17, and falling. And then they loaded up with powerhouses like Rutgers (5-5), UCLA (3-7), Purdue (2-9), Penn St (4-7, and oooooh, they fired their coach), and Wisconsin (3-7)

Indiana is no better and selected Old Dominion, Kennesaw St, and Indiana St for their OOC.

Tech played Arkansas Pine Bluff, Kent St, and a 2-9 conferenceless Oregon St.

Preseason Aggie Schedule included:

#1: Texas Longhorns
#6: Notre Dame
#9: LSU
#13: South Carolina
#15: Florida

And we got dubs against 4 with 1 to play and are undefeated. Not our guys fault that the media people were so wrong. We played who we played.

I don't recall anyone in the media having this kind of energy with sip last year when their schedule made ours this year look like murderers row, not to mention they only had to face like 5 team's starting QB due to injury etc.
There is definitely a "you're not supposed to be here" attitude with many in the media regarding A&M. Not all, to be sure. But we're gonna have to do this a few years in a row to shake this stigma. Until then they're going to poke holes into anything we've accomplished
